Arrived in NYC after a long flight and shuttle bus ride of 2 hours as it was a friday and a bridge had been shut making crazy traffic. Had a fab 4 days here, met up with Denise. Alecks and Christopher where we went to Liberty Island, explored downtown manhattan, Wall Street, Southport, West Village and then Chelsea and Times Square. We walked 10 miles and have learnt not to trust a police officers directions lol Minor technical fault with my camera but all sorted now so crisis averted. I went on a tour of Harlem and visited a Gospel choir which was fun then walked through the North part of Central Park and spent some time getting lost in Macys and the Rockafellar centre as it started raining. Also had a lovely day with Tanis, Scott and family visiting grand central station, the chrysler building and the 9/11 memorial which was emotional.
